
Lisa has been recognized for her talent on
several occasions. She received an "Extraordinary Oswegoan" award in March
of 2002 (Oswego, IL. is her hometown), was included in the National Register's
Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals 2003/2004, was nominated for the
21st Annual Adade Wheeler Award in March 2003, was nominated for the Aurora
YWCA's Women of Distinction Award in May of 2003, was honored with a "Nurse of
the Year" award from the Nursing Spectrum in May of 2003, was a "Featured
Alumnus" of Waubonsee Community College in November of 2003, was included in the
Manchester Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Nursing and
Healthcare 2005/2006, was nominated for the 2006 Woman to Woman: Making a
Difference award from the Illinois State Treasurer, was included in the
Empire Who's Who Empowering Executives and Professionals 2006/2007, and was
included in the National Association of Professional Women 2007/2008. Lisa also
won an award for having the "CLNC Most Memorable Case" at the 2008 NACLNC
Conference in Las Vegas, and the All-American Volunteer of the Year Award from the Lincolnland District Exchange Clubs, 2008/2009.
In 2009/2010
Lisa was awarded "Exchangite of the Year" from the same Lincolnland District
Exchange Clubs.Giving back to the community is important to Lisa. She is currently a volunteer with the Kane County Medical Reserves Corps, she volunteers as a Eucharistic Minister at the local hospital to give Communion to their inpatient population once a month, and she also does the same at her church nearly every weekend. Lisa was a PTA Treasurer from 2004-2006, and a co-chairperson of Market Day from 2007-2008. Lisa has also spearheaded the start of The Exchange Club of Greater Kendall County.
